Martin Professional's Lighting Director performer-tracking system allows HyperMedia Studio applications to use the exact position and velocity of participants to control the response of media-rich environments. A two-tracker system on long-term loan from Martin has sparked the interest of several students planning to use them in upcoming HyperMedia projects. Additionally, the HyperMedia Studio is developing software interfaces for Macromedia Director and common programming langues to provide a general toolset for the easy integration of the Lighting Director into future products. Martin has also provided intelligent lighting instruments, as well as software and hardware for lighting control.
